      2. Add defoamer
      Strong oxidizing fungicides such as chlorine, ozone and peroxide can be used. There are also commercial reagents produced from polyethylene glycol and silicone, as well as mixed reagents for ferric chloride and copper pickling solutions. The role of drugs can only reduce the growth of foam, but can not eliminate the formation of foam. However, widely used fungicides usually have a negative impact, because excessive or inappropriate dosing locations will significantly reduce the number of flocculating bacteria and the total biomass in the reaction tank.
      3. Return supernatant from anaerobic digestion tank
      Previous experiments show that the formation of bubbles on the surface of the aeration tank can be controlled by returning the supernatant of the anaerobic digestion tank to the aeration tank. The main function of the supernatant of the anaerobic digestion tank is to inhibit the erythrococcus, but the actual operation of this method in several sewage treatment plants is not as successful as that in the laboratory. Due to the high concentration of aerobic matrix and ammonia nitrogen in the supernatant of the anaerobic digestion tank, the final effluent quality will be affected, so it should be carefully used.
